Art & Words

Illustrations & prints
Original watercolours and illustrated sayings, finding hope and meaning in the ordinary, difficult and sometimes messy parts of life.

Illustrated Musings
Personal reflections on mental health, faith, creativity, grief, and hope — written with honesty and warmth.

Hi I’m Andrea

I’m an illustrator and writer, and I use art and words to make sense of life, particularly the messy bits.

I write and draw about hope, healing, faith and what it means to be human. Much of what I create has grown out of my own experiences of caring, trauma, therapy and recovery, and the things I’ve learnt along the way.

I’ve discovered that creativity can help us notice things, make sense of things and sometimes find hope when life feels difficult.

Mostly, I’m interested in being honest about life as it really is, while still looking for the possibility of hope.
